Where Derrick Henry Stands in the NFL Record Books
With his latest multi-touchdown performance, Henry sits behind only two players in NFL history for career rushing scores. He is 21 touchdowns away from tying LaDainian Tomlinson for second place and 40 away from tying Emmitt Smith for the all-time record.
Beyond his rushing scores, Henry also passed Colts legend Marvin Harrison for ninth on the NFL’s all-time touchdown list with 129.
Historical Context and Career Workload for the Ravens Running Back
The veteran running back is currently in his 11th NFL season and his third year with the Ravens, having joined the team ahead of the 2024 season following eight years with the Tennessee Titans. Jamison Hensley of ESPN noted that his multi-score performance marked the 33rd time in his career that he tallied two or more touchdown runs in a single game, representing the highest mark in the league since 2016.

Henry has maintained heavy workloads throughout his career, leading the league in rushing attempts four different times and surpassing 300 carries in five separate seasons, including each of the previous two years. During the 2024 season, he finished with 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, followed by 1,595 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns last year.
