Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins running back De’Von Achane would comfortably outperform his ADP (RB12). The result: Achane produced 1,838 scrimmage yards — sixth most in the NFL — to go along with 12 touchdowns. R.J. White updated the list on Aug. 27, 2026 at 11:50 AM ET. Technically, there’s no such thing as a do-not-draft player in Fantasy football, at least for 90% of the draft. Everyone is a value at some point, and risky players are worth the risk if they have upside and the price is right.
That being said, we can look at where players are going in Fantasy football drafts via their average draft position and consider many potential picks as players we won’t roster in any leagues. This could be for a number of reasons, including the hype outpacing what I believe is the upside versus the risk the player brings, or injury uncertainty throwing a player’s value into limbo, or questions about their role in the offense based on camp reporting and preseason usage, just for a few examples.
Last year, our do-not-draft list started with Derrick Henry and Ashton Jeanty in the first round, and while both players were ultimately solid in Fantasy, neither lived up to that lofty draft price.
