ドナルド・トランプ 水曜日の夜、彼は攻撃の標的になって以来初めての集会を行った。 二度目の暗殺未遂 数か月後、トランプ氏はニューヨーク市郊外のスポーツ会場で支持者に対し、「死との遭遇」が自分をより強くしただけだと語った。

元大統領は、いつもの嘘、誇張、そして陰険で人種差別的な悪口の寄せ集めを、ニューヨーク市境からわずか7マイルのロングアイランド郊外にあるナッソー・コロシアムに持ち込んだ。選挙まであと48日しかなく、ニューヨークはどちらの主要政党の優先事項にも入っていないことを考えると、会場の選択は大胆だった。

この州は民主党が優勢で、最後に共和党の大統領候補に投票したのは1984年のロナルド・レーガンの再選のときだ。アリーナがあるナッソー郡でさえ、2020年にはジョー・バイデンに54%、トランプに45%の票を投じた。一方、最新のニューヨーク州の世論調査では、カマラ・ハリスがバイデンを50%リードしている。 二桁。
