The United States military has announced the death of a third service member in recent days, confirming he was killed in northern Iraq on July 18. Bahrain’s air defenses also intercepted an Iranian attack on Sunday, and sirens sounded in Jordan, where the military reported shooting down three Iranian missiles. In response to the strikes, Jordan summoned Iran’s charge d’affaires to lodge a protest.
