英国首相、NATO加盟国に防衛費増額を要請

キール・スターマー 英国の軍事費を数百億ポンド追加支出する計画を示す大規模な見直しを開始するとともに、世界的な脅威の高まりに対応するためNATO諸国に防衛費の増額を求める予定。

英国首相は政権獲得後初の外遊となるワシントンでのNATO創設75周年首脳会議で、防衛同盟に対する英国の「揺るぎない」コミットメントを強調する予定だ。

彼は、同盟国からのさらなる支出増加は、NATOがウラジミール・プーチンの侵攻を含む今日の脅威に対処するのに役立つだろうと述べるだろう。 ウクライナ中東の不安定化が続き、権威主義国家が台頭している。
