UFCファイターのトレイシー・コルテスのつけまつげが顔面へのパンチを飲み込んだ後に飛び散る

All eyes were on Saturday night’s UFC event both due to a rumored Donald Trump appearance and a main-card brawl between Rose Namajunas (14-6) and Tracy Cortez (11-2), the latter of which featured a brow-raising scene.

The tougher-looking Namajunas, sporting a “Furiosa” buzzcut, perfectly contrasted the dolled-up Cortez, who came to the Octagon wearing makeup and fake lashes.

Namjunas managed to punch one of Cortez’s fake lashes off her face after delivering a well-timed straight shot to Cortez’s left eye. 

Cortez’s lash took flight, and Rose Namajunas appeared in control of the eventual win.

While the nation was on edge, the UFC’s slugfest between Namajunas and Cortez delivered.

The fight stirred buzz on Friday after Tracy Cortez narrowly missed weight during her weigh-in, leading to the 30-year-old fighter tearfully cutting off several inches of her hair to beat the scale. A nearly bald Namajunas looked on as Cortez made weight at 126 lbs. and held the newly cut piece of hair.

“Whatever it takes,” Cortez posted on her Instagram.

アウトキックで以前報じられたように、コルテスは当初ナマユナスとメイシー・バーバーの対戦が予定されていたこのイベントに出場するために代わった。フライ級対決ではナマユナスがコルテスを全会一致の判定で破った。
