食品以外の店舗の売上高は、6月の1.9%減の後、7月は百貨店の売上高増加により1.4%増加した。
小売業者は、夏の値引きや、イングランドとスコットランドが競い合った欧州サッカー選手権などのスポーツイベントが売り上げを押し上げたと示唆した。
しかし、自動車燃料の販売量は同月1.9％減少した。
